    a mix of cloud and sun, some shallow Cumulus along with patches of Altocumulus and Cirrus, along with a noticeable nw breeze. Much higher minimum last night than recently at 7.3C, and now up to 11.2C

    Reading the above we seem to have been overtaken by technology. Where are the reports on what the weather is actually doing. It's dry in Gosport but is it cloudy or sunny? The same for Somerset and the Isle of Wight.

    Here it's a disappointing day, though pretty much as forecast. Stratus hugging the hill tops, some light drizzle in the wind, visibility down below 5k, and a temperature hovering around 11C. Looking at the satellite I'm not sure it's going to improve during daylight. These situation sometimes improve during the evening, but I'm not banking on it this time.

    Cloudy/misty until late morning, cloudy again since about 17.00. In between there was

    plenty of pleasant sunshine and a max of 14c. Just a light and variable breeze.

    the day was sometimes cloudy but dry, drizzle in the area but never quite making it here, was warm and humid - reached 15C here but at work the thermo showed 17C :drinks:

    After the grey start, it was another sunny day, although a max of 16C was a little lower than previous days. The cloud returned again at sunset and it looks like tonight won't be as cold as previous nights.
