I think either your equipment is faulty or you are recording in a sun-trap. I've got a max of 23C today and I don't live particularly far away from you; with not that much difference in microclimate influence given todays set-up.

Equipments no problem , its the sun trap again ... just relocated Thermo Hydro sensor and knocked 2c off , Trouble is in our garden the sun is beating down from early morning till late afternoon , 3 parts of the day ,, and believe me its warm when the sun is really beating down , like today ,

Just got a reading of 23.1c , will see how that compares over the next couple of days

On the whole it's been a sparklingly warm and sunny day with a max of 23c.

Cloudy and hazy since about 16.00 and the temperature's dropped back to 18c.

Just the occasional puff of breeze.

Absolutly clear here and 19.5 oc. Reached 23.5 oc today with clear skies all day. Im looking a little pink today. Gotta be my earliest sunburn ever.

I recorded a max of 20.3C today. Surprisingly, this occurred after 6pm; the max of 19C at 2pm was tempered by a sea breeze, and then at around 6pm the sea breeze was replaced by a slight westerly breeze, hence the inflated temperatures.

In Cleadon this is the earliest 20C in the season that I have ever recorded (although local records suggest that 18 March 1990 might have made 20C, so probably not an all-time record). It's still a remarkable 18.5C now.

My mean max for April stands at a remarkable 14.7C, which is fractionally above the long-term May average, though the average minimum is close to the long-term April average.
