Morning everyone

Just been comparing my April stats for this year so far to that of April in 2006 and this is what ive come up with

Up to the 21st April

2006 Low Pressure dominated across the North East with mainly a westerly wind or SW wind

stats for 2006

Max temp 10.28c

Min temp 2.76c

Average temp 6.47c up to and including the 21st

2007 stats

HIgh Pressure dominating this month so far

Max temp so far 13.57c

Min temp so far 4.14c

Average mean temp so far 8.85c

This is showing me that the North East this April is currently 2.38c warmer than the same time last year

also my max temp is curently running 3.38c warmer than last year

and my min temp is currently running 1.38c warmer than last year

Also this year we have seen Westerly and Easterly winds , where last year Easterlies were virtually non existance in April

It has also been alot drier than last year and alot calmer [regarding wind speeds]
