    Can hear thunder in the distance and looking out the window to the south can see lightning, so it looks like we have a small storm off the Sussex Coast.

    Here is the cell it seems....doesn't seem to be particularly deep convection but some strong returns there suggesting very heavy downpours: -

    01.27am we have three rumbles of thunder in T/Wells and getting closer, first storm of the summer!

    Raining here in Tunbridge Wells too - plenty of rumbles of thunder a good 5-10 minutes ago - thought the first few were just trains!

    Hoping for lots of rain please. Mini downpour
