Hi, can anyone identify this tree that's in our garden? it's been bugging me for ages. I did post in another thread but I don't think it's been noticed.

The middle photo looks like a Cotoneaster. The first and third ones don't.

I do tree reports for a living by the way. Good aren't I!

Trees are buggers like that though.

Moved it into outdoor life where it might get someone who knows what they're on about.

I agree with OON, it's a Cotoneaster. If it's evergreen I'd say Cotoneaster Lacteus, if it's semi-evergreen then possibly Cotoneaster Cornubia.

lacteus has rounded leaves. I think you may be right with cornubia. Does it have red berries come autumn?

Similar, but when they ripen there aren't as many as that and they are deeper red and the leaves are a bit different.

I know what you mean, alot of flowers are out now here, the wasps are buzzing round it, I've even seen them when there has been a bit of rain, no bees as yet though.

The tree is heaving with bees and wasps even saw a hornet aswell, and there was all different kinds has anyone got a link to a website thats shows the different species? I've looked on one but it only shows drawings and I found it very difficult to identify them. I am interested because there were quite alot I had never seen before.
