I have been following the second storm of the NW pacific typhoon season, and am amazed at the rate it has bombed. It was originally forecasted to become a category 1 as it curved northeast away from the phillipines, but very quickly it has intensified to a category 4 with sustained winds of 125mph gusting to 135mph!

Scrap that, 145mph! I'm not sure what has caused it to intensify so quickly, must be very favourable conditions out there. This won't effect land and is forecast to weaken from here on in, but a interesting storm nonetheless.

People are lucky that storm will stay at sea by the sound of things, 145mph is a real killer.
