Welcome to the voting to select the best photo of April 2007. We're down to six finalists - thanks to all those who voted in the first round. And many thanks to Pottyprof for arranging the initial vote whilst I was away.

A special mention has to go to Potsy - the first time an entrant has achieved having two photos through to the final - well done mate :drinks:

So, as always, there can be only one winner :p

This competition was for photos taken during April. The winning shot will form part of the 2008 netweather.tv Calendar.

Voting will end at 12 noon Thursday 31st May.

Voting on the May 2007 Photo Comp will then begin a few days later :)

Voting is as simple as simply clicking in the poll for your favourite picture. These are the photos that made it through to the final round (in reverse alphabetical order):

Close, but it has to be OON. I just love the way the cloud looks like a washing line strung between the trees. And the dark tones give the scene a brooding, almost sinister feel.

Visual poety, Mr OON.

Great pics everyone!

For me though, Potsy's two photos stand out, they are both excellent.

I cannot decide which one to vote for, think i'll wait until I get home tonight.

I'm so chuffed that 2 of mine got to the final vote :p , there were some really good submissions this month. Wibs got my vote (very nice and tranquil), though it was difficult as OON has captured a really good weather subject and I like the action that Essan has managed to capture and nice colour in Weathermaster's picture.

as always hugely difficult, they are all quite superb, in the end Wibs or Potsy 1, by a whisker just Wibs.

congrats to all, even OON.

I like the comment 'dark and brooding like...'

Welldone to all finalists for April, all the photos are excellent! Very difficult to choose one winner.

I love them all, but it has to be WIBS, absolutely beautiful!! I would buy this photo.
