Now, I can't be 100% sure, but coming home from a day out today, with the temperature of 8º in the village, I could swear that there was some white stuff at the top of Great Dun Fell. Very very subtle, but almost definitely there and we have had a day of very heavy showers.

Unconfirmed reports of sleet to the NW of London.

The temperature this morning, in moderate rainfall, was at 5.4C. So some more intense precip over an elevated area may well have produced local sleet. Awaiting confirmation of wet sleet in Telford...

Sleet and hail here over the past couple of days, more this morning. Was at 550m yesterday with huge wet snow flakes coming down, wasnt sticking at all though.

A covering of snow earlier today.Still lying above 1700m. Max today 2C with a bit of a chill in the air.
