The rain in Northern England will slowly ease away into scotland during the day. Further South more showers and storms will develop through the day. The weekend and even into next week continues unsettled.

B) I dont know who I,m replying too exactley ...but anyway ..what happened to the so called hot Summer we were told to expect ?................Does anyone know if it might still happen ? times running out .

HI David, I'll also reply to your email with some more detail. But you have to remember that long range forecasts are in their infancy and can't be considered to be definitive answers. That said though, the temperature this month is running at about 1.5 degrees above the norm for the time of year, so that portion of the forecast is correct. There is a long way to go this summer, we're only 2 weeks into a 3 month period so it's probably a bit early to pass judgement on the forecast as a whole, plus the forecast will be updated at the end of the month as well
