Max temp of 19c in sunshine around midday, otherwise a mostly cloudy day with showers - none of which have been heavy here - and storms to the N/NE and SW early in the afternoon.

Temp now 16c and the sky is slowly clearing from the NW.

A benign sort of day here which never looked as though heavy showers would develop; and they didn't.

A dry and cloudy morning with any cumulus development largely obscured by a sheet of stratus. The stratus cleared during the early afternoon and by late afternoon one or two showers got going but there was only one brief and very light one here.

Temp' at 1800 g.m.t was 14.2c after a max' of 17.3c.

Mean wind speed was 6 mph W and the highest gust today, 32 mph W at 1204 g.m.t.
