A thoroughly miserable day with extensive cloud cover and showery rain/drizzle. The sky did brighten for a while during the afternoon and I guess that was when the 16c max happened. A gentle, variable breeze.

Light rain now, brighter to the NW so maybe (ironically) some late sun to come, 15c.

After some morning rain it has been dry and overcast. Since 8 though, there has been persistant and very heavy rain. There has been some torrential bursts in the last half hour.
