Rain in Northern Ireland, parts of Wales and southwest England will die out by mid afternoon. Occasionally heavy rain will affect East Anglia, and the Northern Isles, but mainly dry elsewhere with sunny intervals.

Monday night

Rain over East Anglia will spread southwest across parts of southeast England, and rain will reach northern Scotland. The rest of the UK will be dry with clear intervals.

Tuesday day

Showers, heavy at times, for parts of East Anglia and southeast England. Patchy drizzle will affect some eastern coasts, but elsewhere the weather will be breezy and dry, with the best of the sunshine in the west.

Tuesday night

The shower risk will continue in the southeast where it will turn rather windy. The rest of the UK will be dry with clear intervals, these mainly in the west.

Southeastern parts of England will be rather cloudy today with a few showery outbreaks of rain from time to time. Elsewhere, the further north and west one goes, the brighter and less windy it will become.

Little change: southeastern parts still rather cloudy, breezy and damp; but further west and north it will be drier with clear periods

Thursday day

Cloud and patchy rain will become clonfined to the far Southeast of England, with some cloud and patchy rain in the far Northwest of Scotland too. Otherwise a dry day with plenty of warm sunshine as the winds ease.

Thursday night

Southeast England and Northwest Scotland will stay cloudy, with clear spells and dry weather across the rest of the UK. Low cloud, mist and fog will form in places with light winds.

Rain will edge slowly southwards across central parts through the day with sunshine and showers following to the north. Feeling cooler in the north, but further warm sunny spells in the south.

The band of rain will clear southern areas by morning, with clearer and cooler conditions spreading to most parts. A few sharp showers are possible in northeast Scotland.

Dry for most of England and Wales with long sunny spells. Scotland and Northern Ireland will start bright but gradually cloud over with light rain in western Scotland slowly moving east and south to most parts by dusk.

Cloud will continue to spread south over many areas. Most parts will stay dry but some light rain will also head south. The rain will largely be confined to northern and western Scotland and northwest England.
