Currently have a thunderstorm moving up from the south. Constant lightning and deep rumbles of thunder.

Edit: Storm now passed through. Had hail and extremely heavy rain too.

Heavy/torrential rain for 30 mins after 10pm accompanying a weak storm. Flashes every 2-3 mins.

Strange as areas just east and west of here are bone dry

I'm just on the edge of that storm Dee88, some very impressive forked lightning and cloud to cloud strikes, but totally dry here although my wife said that there was heavy hail in Glengormley, only about 3 miles from here.

First rumble from the South East of here.

Probably going to miss us as it appears to be heading North.

That storm just looks fantastic and im in Belfast missing out :D . The terminal at Belfast International has apparently been evacuated becasue of flooding!! Just a couple of flights diverted to Belfast City. A First Choice aicraft reported a fork pretty close whilst it was on approach. I'll look forward to seeing those pics and vids if you can upload them!

Seems to be clearing here now but still some distant rumbles of thunder. Looks like that's it for here but out towards the north west appears to be getting a pasting right now according to the radar.
