A quick bit of research shows today to have been the coolest July day since I began recording in 2003!

Max of just 15c!

Heavy rain throughout the morning, then light showers/drizzle all afternoon with slowly brightening skies. The wind has been gentle all day and from just about every direction. Ironically, it's quite clear now but the sun is still covered with low cloud. 14c.

Hi all,

I am working on a study on the Emm Brook and would like to find out what rainfall depths people recorded during the rainfall event on Friday 20/7/2007. I would appreciate hearing from as many people as possible in the Wokingham, Bracknell, Crowthorne, Camberley, Sandhurst area. I was on site on Friday and have seen some pretty heavy flooding. I am now working out what return period this rain event corresponds to. Any information on the Friday rain event would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Elmar
