hey russ you might experience some heavy thundary showers but mostly storms, it looks good for everyone in the south, east and the storms are heading north towards me B) thay are just south, east, west of london also russ you are now under a weather warning from the metoffice looks good

saint.

Oh good, I may get some interesting clouds to photograph then.

The Guernsey radar has a storm to its SW currently 2 strikes per minute.

Whilst the estofex certainly shows signs of the right cloud build up :)

Of course I am hoping that these are the driest storms ever for obvious reasons B)

Regards,

Russ.

Hi Guys.

OK we have heavy cloud build-up here but nothing electrical. A heavy rain cell pushed through about an hour ago heading ENE. Latest from Farnborough follows:

13:20

Wind - 220/07KT 190V250

Viz >10 Kms

A few clouds at 1200 Ft

Temp - 16°

DP 13°

Press Q1013

Dry now in sunshine but intermittent

Andy

The cloud cover over me at present appears to be developing on radar and heading NE ish.

The lightning hits from the Channel islands area are on the increase, although looking at the sat animation it looks like those will miss the UK IMO.

Regards,

Russ

"Cheltenham witnessed its worst deluge for more than 30 years.More than 6cm of rain fell on the town between 9am and 3pm, and the Environment Agency reckoned the total rainfall over the 24-hour period could be more than 18cm."

EIGHTEEN!!!! 180mm B)

exaggeration? possibly but based on the flooding we had it's not impossible

It's getting a bit more organized here now. The wind has gone from W to SW - oops! - and there is some pretty dark clouds heading toward London.
