Once again this location has largely missed out on the rain - there maybe a bit more to come judging by the rainfall radar but weve only managed 0.5mm out of this. I'm not complaining though, its been one of the driest places to be this summer.

The back edge of the system has just gone through very quickly giving a very impressive skyscape, overhead we have mammatus hanging below nimbostratus and high level cirrus on the back edge of the front and clear blue sky stretching to the western horizon. Anyone in east devon/somerset/dorset may want to grab a camera in the next hour or so.
