I'm sure some of you have this site book-marked, but for those who aren't familiar with it, click on this link and have a look around, the main links from this page are "viermal-tagliche etc" for six-hourly European maps, and "aussere etc" near the bottom of the page for all other continental maps, updated at various intervals, some also every six hours, some just once daily.

Not complete weather maps, but gives you a pretty good idea of what's happening around the world every day, especially if you combine it with the new global satellite feature on the metoffice site.
