10/10ths boring grey cloud cover, dry, light winds.

Boring, boring, boring, but as long as those areas recently affected by floding are OK, I'll put-up with it.

Today started bright and hazily sunny, but it soon clouded over and there was a spell of very heavy rain by late morning. Drier through the afternoon and a slow clearance to what has been a lovely, sunny evening. Max 20c, much more humid than recently, gentle WNW breeze. Temp now 19c.

Dubai Floods: Another Warning Sign for Desert Regions?

The flooding in the Middle East desert city of Dubai earlier in the week followed record-breaking rainfall.
