Not wet today. Grey and cool still, but not currently raining!

Oh how I wish!!

Almost cloudless here with unbroken sunshine, just a few wisps of cirrus on the western horizon.

Temp' is already up to 18.0c so I fear it's inevitable that today will be the warmest day of the year so far.

Mean wind speed is 12 mph S

Vis', 45 miles

Rainfall from 1800-0800 g.m.t, nil.

S (10 mph)

Relative Humidity (%): 65,

Pressure (mB): 1013, Falling,

Visibility: Very good

This was the 08:00 reading....

Not a cloud in sight. Much hotter now with the breeze making it just about bearable. I wouldn't be surprised if East Anglia didn't hit 30 today, although further inland than me I suspect.

25.0ºC here, cloudy and breezy, with sunny intervals becoming less frequent. I think thats as good as its going to get, but I'm quite happy with that after such a crap summer.

Blah. Trust my thermometer batteries to run out today... Just about got things up and running again now, but that means I've lost several hours earlier in the day

Anyway, we currently have 26 degrees, making this the hottest day of 2007, but there's still an unusual amount of cloud cover, and a fairly strong breeze, meaning it doesn't feel quite as warm.

Except in my room, where all the windows are closed, because we're under siege from a plague of FLIES. Which is annoying.

Rain at just over 13C.

Is it really as high as the upper twenties as far North Yorks? Feels like Autumn here with the central heating coming on this afternoon. Colder now than it was at its lowest in any of the last two nights.

30C

The flooding in the Middle East desert city of Dubai earlier in the week followed record-breaking rainfall.
