The past few days have been beautiful here: quite a lot of sunshine and feeling warm in that sunshine too. It was a little cloudy this evening but it didn't spoil what was a beautiful day. I am longing for some Autumn gales now though- the weather has been just as little too quiet.

The CF has now cleared, having delivered a massive 1.1mm. The radar however does show a large area of ppt between here and Ireland, so some more rain does look likely this morning and perhaps into the early afternoon.
