its turned cold as a result of clearing skies, despite a warmer airmass and quite high temperatures at half past midnight last night, Fel to 8.5C and was doing so at such a rate that I thought there might be a frost by 7am if it continued. Currently 8.8C ALOT colder than anywhere else even close to me - odd. (I mean Chester and Liverpool are 10-12C right now)

Edit: still falling fast actually, now 8.4C I fully expect it to fall to 7C range before it starts to warm up - more of the same for the next few nights too, I think temperatures as low as 2-4C are possible here in the next few nights especially with Wales as shelter.
