Frost Alert

My wife wants to get a home weather station. She particularly wants a frost alert so she can deal with the greenhouse, etc in time.

We can't afford a Davis but probably can afford up to the new OS WM200. It's going to have to connect to a laptop via either wireless or USB as it doesn't have a serial port, which I have read can be a problem.

Any suggestions? I have been reading other threads and elsewhere, but no one mentions frost.
