Have I missed something or is nobody saying anything about Mexico, where they seem to have had a few spots of rain?

I haven't heard anything about that but the I haven't really being paying attention to the weather in that part of the world. I know they have been hit by a few Hurricanes this year (Hurricanes Dean, Lorenzo and Henriette), would you be able to elaborate on what you've said?

Tabasco state has had the worst floods in memory. A million people's homes under water. The state capital, Villahermosa, completely flooded. It's the rainier season but this is exceptional even for a low lying area subject to regular flooding. Makes post-Katrina New Orleans look quite dry. But not a mention on this forum.

Thanks for that Biffvernon and RR. I'm a little surprised it hasn't been mentioned but people may not have seen it possibly. Certainly some shocking pictures on that link RedRaven, I hope some dry weather accompanies the relief efforts which hopefully will be successful and efficient.
