    Hi Folks

I have a good friend who is a lorry driver . This morning between 11:30 and 13:00 GMT he saw two tornados together . It was very near to he M20 in Rochester in Kent .

This is a very good friend of mine and one that I class as a reliable source of information

    Pete

Sounds unlikely - there's certainly not been any other reports. However, he may have seen 2 funnel clouds, or, more likely, some trailing scud - which to the untrained eye could look like tornadoes (especially if he was driving at the time).! Unfortunately without more details it's impossible to say.

I know what you mean. Also if you have a shower cloud and precipitation can be seen coming from the base of the cloud, it can look like a tornado.

Yes there are many many things that can trick the eye. Have to say I have (once) been caught out myself. The key thing to look for is rotation - if you have that then it is more than likely a tornadic development of some kind. No rotation and it probably is not!
