last week-end, very several weather in the nothen Italy.

100-150mm near Milan, and 200-300mm on the toscan mountains.

At the Alps, especially central zone, came back the snow! In Passo Tonale, more 100cm!

from wednesdy evening and Friday morning, will be alert in the ionian zone.

start from east Sicily to my area (south Puglia), because cold drop actually near north-west Africa is goingt to move to SO!

Looks interesting Frank. I hope you can get some photos if you get a good thunderstorm. :)

    I hope too :)

    I'll try to do something

I hope to don't lose the heavy rain, these configurations are very unforeseeables.

just 50-100 kms shift to north or south could be decisive!

    Hi guys

last week was rainy, but unfortunately the MCS went to Ionian Island (Greece).

    here more and less 20mm

Yesterday arrived cold air from NW with very good vorticty.

here 12mm in some downpour with little hail and some looses snow.

near the east cost, were seen 4 funnel cluoud and one tornado on the see(what's the specific name?)

in this video (from Brindisi- 40kms Nort from here) can see the half of it!

yesterday heavy rain in the south Greece and S Turkey.

in the last 20 month, a lot of big thundestrom(like MCS) have prefered the Ionian Island.

Generally, my zone have some every year but I don't see once from Autumn 2005!!!

The Ionian greece Island have a very interest rain average. Corfù (in the North) more 1200mm at year!!!

I've only 650mm! Beacause when the wind flows from south-west(often!) the big Sila mountain (in Calabria- 1700m more and less) stops the humidity and I have a little fohn effect.

Enjoy the interesting weather the projected cold pooling heading your way from the NE will bring, we in the UK are not envious at all that you have -10C 850mb temps heading your way  , should create some strong convection crossing the warm Adriatic too.

    I hope Nick, I hope!

the secondary depression will be decisive to direction of cold pooling. if it will be about NE Greece I'd have a very nice snow, otherwise I'll see some flake or a lot of mm

Can you pull up the Hp for one/two hundred kms? :)
