Looks like we've got some very wet & windy weather on the way over the next couple of weeks according to The Met Office, this could mean 1 or 2 stormy weather systems moving in. According to The BBC Weather site, mean wind speeds of 40mph are expected in the South-East on Thursday, correct me if I'm wrong but this could mean gusts of 60 maybe even 80mph could it not?
