Competition deadline has now passed - see below for late entry penalties!

I'll post up the list in a bit with 5 points for closest to location, reducing by 1 point for 2nd place, 3rd place etc. And we'll do 5 points for correct speed, reducing by 1 point. There will be a special bonus of 5 points for the closest in combination of speed and place!

1 point reductions for every 30 minutes for late entries past 16h00.

Hope that sounds fair! Just a bit of fun ;)

Well it's not up to me, but the highest land wind gust I saw was 77 mph at 0700 at Culdrose, whether that's actually the winning value or not, I don't know. It's a good bit lower than most of the guesses. Valentia had a max wind gust of 62 knots or about 70 mph. Doesn't count but Marathon had 91 mph.
