Just took my daughter into the town centre andwe had the most torrential rain i've seen for a long time ,and the sky went really dark, car thermometer read 4c.

The weather stayed mostly sunny until mid-afternoon when it clouded over with a spell of heavy rain. The most notable feature has been a gale force WNW wind which caused today's football match to be a sight for sore eyes! Max a much cooler 8c.
