Something I’ve been mulling over for a while.

Assuming that money is no object, and using current or plausible technology, could it be possible to control the weather?

I’m thinking giant mirrors to direct the suns energy towards the planet’s surface or alternatively, to shade certain areas.

How would you propose to do it?

Given our limited understanding of the systems involved should we try?

We can reasonable predict the weather up to a few days ahead, would it be possible to ‘tweak’ weather systems to generate the weather we want? Move that low pressure 150 miles east to give us that snow lol!

Should we meddle or have we done enough damage already?

Is it ethical?

Could we solve drought issues or global warming?

So many questions but open your minds and see if you could find some answers....

Maybe in the far far distant future when our understanding of these things is absolute.Untill then we would undoubtably do more harm than good I fear.

As an answer however I forward the theory of something simple such as high level dust particle releases

to lower light levels :) Make it cold
