My totals for 2008

Jan: 100mm barrier reached!

Todays deluge has so far delivered 28mm since 1030.

Also, thats almost 80mm for the past week and counting.

Broke 50mm for January today- currently 52.3mm and rising.

30mm at home in Eastbourne but 86.5 mm for work, Burgess Hill, West Sussex :o

An astonishing 73.9mm so far this month for Bristol, a considerable amount fell on Friday - 30.5mm of it!

i havent got any measurements, but we`ve had a huge amount of rain. SEPA havent issued a warning yet, but the water lever at the dam in loch doon is so high they`ve had to open all the sluice gates, so the river is very high.

I've recorded 100mm so far, however my rain gauge is in a sheltered position atm so the true figure must be much higher!

Shaping up to be a remarkable month rain-wise here.

Have now broken the 200mm barrier, which usually would be a large enough total for the whole month.

300mm has happened locally, though I have not had such a figure (until this month perhaps?).

I think 350-400mm would be as high as it can get here at this sort of altitude though.

60mm past 3 days, from the persistent rain and drizzle that has never really been heavy!

135mm in the 8 days alone.

Here at work in Burgess Hill, the local station has now reported 150.9mm for the month and more on the way today. Eastbourne is still only 41.6mm but what do you expect from the sunniest place in the UK?!

I've recorded about 130mm over the last 7 days. Month total must be well over 175mm.

According to our local station in Clacton we've only had 34.8mm rain so far this month

My wettest month is 240mm+ in 2000, don't think I'll beat that for a while
