After a dry night with clear periods, cloud has increased with a freshening SE wind. Currently at 9am, overcast and windy, raining lightly with a rapidly rising temperature, currently 5c after a low of 2c just over and hour and a half ago. The morning continued overcast and windy with a little light rain at times. The afternoon brightened for a short time only for moderate showers to quickly break out which continued well in to the evening. Rainfall total 12mm, maximum temperature 10c.

I don't mind maxxes of up to 12c in winter as usually they're shortlived and replaced by cooler conditions, but this week the maxxes have gone 11c, 12c, 12c and now a crazy 14c - without sunshine -but with drizzle/light rain on and off all day as well as a gusty WSW wind.

It's 13c now and drizzling.
