Spectacular thunder and lightning at 0130 hrs thismorning, with 57-65 mph gusts knocking the TV and radio transmitter off.

Strangely nothing has appeared on the lightning detector which makes you wonder how accurate it really is or is'nt !!!

Yet another extremely mild night, which saw a rising temperature, so the maximum of 11c for 24-hour period on Tuesday was recorded at 5am this morning.

Has been overcast damp, breezy but very mild and up to reading time. The morning and afternoon was very mild, windy and mostly cloudy with just a few bright spells. Maximum temperature 13.2c, rain = 1mm. The night continued cloudy with a little rain.

currently 4.7c feels very cold although no wind. There is not a cloud in the sky and a nice full moon too top it all off. I was hoping to see some sleety snow showers today according to many websites but all we had is a bit of rain in the morning possibly a couple of flakes mixed in.
