A much quieter day than yesterday when we had a westerly gale blowing for much of daylight hours and a max' gust of 66 mph.

Clear periods overnight led to a clear start to the morning but fog patches already present at 0730 quickly spread and thickened to give a few hours of cool and foggy weather, the fog evenutally clearing around 1100.

There were sunny spells from late morning until around 1430 when a sheet of stratocumulus spread from the west.
