I'm not sure of the temps but it is very cloudy and there is light sleet, mainly of snow, falling here.

On my way home from visiting my parents this afternon we came through a snow shower, albeit the road is about 300m above sea level, but the mountains nearby we completely white, but so far no snow at my house which is nearer sea level

I have had sleet right through the night. It is 0C and very cloudy so I think there could be the odd wintry shower here today.

This is my first post to this forum as I have given up on the other place.

Anyway it is now snowing reasonably heavy in Stanley, Co Durham at about 500ft ASL (150m ish) and settling. I'm looking forward to this week!

Here on the Kent coast the temperature has dropped a couple degrees and the wind is really starting to kick in, just went outside to check the weather equipment and it feels freezing, the wind chill really kicking in. Temp region at Whitstable is 3c dropped from 5c this morning and the wind is now blowing 25 MPH NEE.

Sky has full cloud cover and all in all its cold... but rather exciting to see what will happen in the next 24 hours.

    :p
