Only for fun

Lets have a little fun while we are waiting and watching for the next snow.

Place your bets on who in the U.K gets the next decent amount of lying snow?

Well lets have a shout at who in the U.K gets the best decent amount of lying snow in the U.K & also have a go at the closest date. We all know that it will be Scotland somewhere. So lets stay south of the border.

I will plump for Sunderland 3/1 bet on 17 Feb. Or Penrith 5/1 on 17 Feb

I know it's sad & I have nothing better to do loll :(

10-1 local to stafford.,...........hang on!........a development........

here's nothing in the rules about 'man made' laying snow is there?......in that case, my chest freezer....an inch of solid ice with an 3.2mm dusting today!....what prize do I win?

I'm not picky, but 2 tickets for the british grand prix would be acceptable :o

aaaaannnnd.....I just lifted the freezer lid.....its drifting!...lol

If only!! Dont think Kent will see any snow this winter - so far its been the worse I can remember. Not particularly cold, and not even 2 hours of lying snow. Tut.

Ever the optimist with your beast from the east! It's not out of the question for the second half of Feb, but I have doubts.

I say Aviemore, or south of the border, Osbourne One-Nil's location.

How about 1000-1 for Penzance on the tip of Cornwall?

plenty spreadin across the country tonight with more through the week. oh wait thats in its liquid form isnt it... but it was snow up in the sky before it hit the ground...

ok the mountains of Wales and northern England might get a bit tonight and tomorrow but for a decent fall i would say high ground of northern England from a small low passing over the north midlands area sometime this month.
