Overnight rain and gales cleared during the early hours allowing the temperature to fall low enough for a ground frost, minimum air temperature 1.0, minimum on the grass –3.5c. Currently at 9am, clear and sunny with a ground frost. The morning continued bright, but with increasing cloud which gave a couple of showers during the early afternoon. More rain and strong winds followed during the evening. Maximum temperature, 8.7c, rain = 6mm.
