North East Scenery

Morning everyone

Went for a drive this morning well {50.7miles to be exact} still very dark and thick dense fog in places. 4 mile up the road heading North on the A1 temp was 4.3c, however when i turned off the A1 and started heading North East towards the coast, fog was even thicker and denser , down to 50yards in places. When i arrived on the coast {Newbigging by the sea} strangelyt enough the fog had lifted, and it was as clear as a bell, however temperature was down to 2.4c

Anyway i decided to take a few shots today, and also some shots from around the North East during this week has also been added, hope you all enjoy { this week i think ive taken around 500 shots, {NO im not going to post them all but here are a few selected ones

Sorry i forgot to add that there is NO enhancement done to these pics, apart from setting the ISO a little higher than normal

camera im using is a FINE PIX S5600

Last week i passed your house around 3 times driving back from Scots Gap .. as i find it quicker to drive through Ponteland , then head 12 mile back to Morpeth to rejoin the A1 , ,

on thursday around 5pm, i got a couple of the red/pink sky on that day.... beautiful.....

I got a few shots of the sky thurs evening, i took them with my phone

as my daughter took the canon with her too Robin Hoods Bay, my phone's camera

has 5 million pix so should'nt be too bad. Ok if i stick em' on this thread Nigel?

The last shots were taken early this morning , about a hour and half before sunrise , taken at a place called CRESSWELL which is between LYNEMOUTH and WIDDRINGTON [which is about 6 mile SOUTH of AMBLE down the EAST coast

The Snow scene , was last Thursday or Friday , think it was the Thursday when parts of the Pennines got cut off , after those blizzards

Just a few more selected ones , these are the types of areas that i have to deliver too, middle of no where, very high up, and if i get stuck ive had it, these village farms, and cottages, there neighbours are about 2 or 3 mile away, [one thing i can say , is that the scenery is awesome}

just too add , if you ever get the chance , take a drive over there, believe me, its stunning, personally i think these areas are on a parr with places like the Moors over Stanhope way and Allendale

Morpeth is about , 12 mile North on the A1 from the Team Valley, then just follow the signs, for places like Cambo, Whalton, Scots Gap

I know the area very well and you've captured the place how it is....

My mate (known him 26yrs) lives in a large exfarmhouse there, i took

some photos around the wheat harvest last year, absolutely stunning scenery, he often

comments how lucky he is. I'm often up there i love it..!!
