A slight to moderate frost here last night with the air temperature falling to –1.7c and a grass minimum of –5.5c. At 09:00hrs, ground frost but sunny with a cool moderate southerly breeze, wind chill –1.0c. The morning saw a little more sunshine before cloud increased to overcast by around noon. The afternoon became increasing windy and dull as the cloud lowered and thickened south, but rain didn’t follow until after midnight. Maximum temperature 10.2c, rain 2mm.
