Hello folks,

Sorry didnt really know where to post this, just hoped someone could shed a little light on a problem i have.

i own a Oregon wmr928nx weather station which has been preforming superbly until now. The unit is less than 1 year old and i now find i have a problem. Upon glancing at the main display i noticed that there was no temperature report from the external wireless remote sensor (thero hygro sensor). Seeing this i went to check out the outside unit to find that that particular sensor and transmitter solar cell seemed to have a problem. Usually there is a red led that blinks to let me know that the unit is operating fine, this time however the led was not blinking but was on constant telling me there was a problem. I have checked all the power supplies all the connections and gone through the manual to no avail. I have also tried all the reset functions. i was just wondering if there has been anyone else that has experianced this problem and maybe know what to do? What i do suspect is that the thermo hygro sensor (thgr918n) has failed and i need to replace it. Is it possible to replace this unit? and if so where and how?

Any help would be very kind, thankyou

Robbie

Not owning said wx station I would hint that maybe moisture has entered a connector somewhere.
