Convection and cloud formations.

Here is a selection of the 300 photos i took today, from early this morning the cloud formations were looking good, we decided to go to the north of the island looking over portsmouth and southampton, to get the best views

All photos taken with Canon 400d, Manly with standard lens on, and in landscape mode.

Very nice pics Kelly. Seen some similar formations over the last few days here - breathtaking!

Is it just me or is there a bit of 'fish-eye' on some of those shots (banana horizons ) I would have thought that there would be a way of correcting that in photoshop (maybe not but just a thought)

Here's hoping you get a shot of a lifetime 50ft wave tomorrow stay safe though!

Did you use a particular filter Kelly or have you applied some sort of effect afterwards? I only ask because the sky looks very dark on a few whilst the boats at the bottom appear bleached out.

No fliter was used, just auto corrected a few.

Very nice Kelly, how many did you take today?

I took 358 today The Needles and Freshwater bay, forever wiping lens down, well worth it though.
