I'll hedge my bets on inland England at around 958Mb/hPa

Thats the exact reading on my weather station right now .. 958Mb/hpa, although the signal is saying its still falling.

I guess you are at altitude - MSLP is not quite that low in your area (about 964mb at the moment) - same as here which is my record low in the 4 years I have been recording weather data, and looks set to fall a little bit more yet.

Nope - in the Trent Valley so certainly not at altitude. 956mb now being shown... Perhaps not that accurate by the looks of it! Not sure why tho.

956 mbar, falling slowly.

My lowest- but only recorded since Oct 2006, but must be lowest in south for a good few years?

No great surprise given that the LP centre is not a million miles from where you are. (South Irish Sea as we speak, or type even!)

Just had a mad 15/20 minutes of rain as the LP sinks South East so my prediction of 958Mb/hPa is still possible. Currently 960Mb/hPa and STILL falling. I'm hard pressed to remember a time in March when barometric pressure was as low as this in this part of the world. :wallbash:

But other members it seems have seen lower recordings than that overnight and during the day. Well done. :) Just please remember to stay safe everyone and avoid any unneccesary travel. Feet up, cup of tea, watch Jeremy Kyle on ITV2...

On second thoughts... Where's my coat?

Phil.

My lowest reading now passed- 955 mbar at 1130, when the low was sat over west Wales.

Now only up to 959 mbar.

959.3mb here and it seems to have bottomed out at that. It's the lowest pressure on record for March and the lowest for any month since December 1989.
