Clear periods last night allowed the air temperature to dip low enough for a touch of ground frost, minimum air temperature 2.7c, grass minimum –1c. Strong SSE winds gusting to 47mph with cloud and rain arrived around 03:00hrs. At 09:00, the wind has moderated with the clouds breaking and the rain has stopped. The morning saw a little sunshine shortly after reading time, but cloud increased again to overcast with some rather gusty winds. Further outbreaks of rain followed during the afternoon and evening. maximum temperature, 8.1c.

Winds are terrible here! Very bad indeed! Wasnt forecast these winds really but we sure are getting them!

Clouds are light grey-ish with some coming over merky grey colour. Cloud cover is 8/8.

Expecting rain soon I think, although I havent checked the radar yet!

The most notable aspect today was a calm start, it was noticably quiet until late morning but changed quickly with gale force gusts through the afternoon. Sunshine and showers describes the rest of the conditions with a surprising max of 14c!
