Oh I'm not getting dragged down the whole 'photography thread' debacle we had last week, I believe changes are coming which will probably benefit this whole area. :o But having hundreds of posts which just say 'nice pics' time and time again isn't very stimulating or constructive, you might as well put 'nice post' after everything anybody puts on this forum.

rantoff.gif relax and breath out..............

I'm not having a pop at you Richard (or your photos :o ), just trying to do my bit to maintain a bright, informative and buoyant forum! :o

(Did you see I 'went' for just a few seconds there? )

my thread has been hijacked :drunk: shouldn't have bothered

Sorry Cookie, that was never my intention - you and I enjoy good banter and posting in other areas. I mean no disrespect to you personally and I hope it doesn't come over that way.

But the continued use of that phrase just looks like an attempt to bump up the post count, nothing more, it gives you no critical feedback or indication if the photos are genuinely interesting or relevant. It is said on almost every single photo post we have in here and is quoted without any thought in the same way as people glibly thank an ancient Auntie or Grandparent for 50p to get some sweeties. I would actually go so far as to say that hackneyed phrase shows great insincerity to you and the time you have taken to take the shots and upload them.

I won't hijack your thread anymore and hope you will continue to post photos for people to see your talent. My Apologies.

I have to agree with Coast on this one that the amount of replies that only say 'Nice pics' is not adding anything to the forum.

They are nice pics btw Cookie, really shows the classic example of sunshine and showers in them photos which like you say give some really great cloud formations.

How on earth has a pubic hair got there?!

most likely cat hair as the cats sit on the window.

I really couldn't go out I was in that much pain, I should have gone out.

Nice cloud formations only slightly spoiled by that damn hair/pube/cat hair/cat pube/whatever
