    Arr just found this http://www.local6.com/news/15595036/detail.html So its weather related they say? I can't see a storm on the current charts off Spain.

    I have looked at the satellite animation too :rofl:

    Oh wow, that would have been scary !

    I wonder if that's very recent ?

    Maybe storm force winds ?

    Haven't heard of anything like an earthquake to have caused that.

    Btw, I watched that repeated BBC docu' last night on Tsunami's. Amazing facts.

    Being on the Atlantic coast, the N and W Spanish coasts are open to the very occasional threat of exceptionally high waves stirred up from Atlantic lows - just like other Atlantic coastal areas where wave heights have had a long fetch to gain height - hence why the Atlantic coasts of Western Europe are popular with serious surfers.

    When I walk to the end of Freshwater Bay, the beach is very steep and the waves rush dramatically right up, I must admit I get a little scared. I certainly don't go there in bad weather :lol:

    Crikey, that would have been as scarey as hell for those it hit, It looks like the car in the top right hand corner took evasive action just in time to avoid becoming another casualty.
