This morning's snow showers became light and much more scattered after 0930 and the 3cm snow cover at 0900 had mostly thawed by midday, apart from drifts under the walls. Sunny intervals and a few light snow showers this afternoon and then a heavier one around 1730 which covered the ground again.

Very light snow flurries in south Dorset this am and a more substantial sleet and snow shower here this afty. Which is a bit of an upgrade considering the forecast was for rain only down here at low levels, I'm a towering 45metres amsl here!
