Clear periods lead to a frost overnight. Minimum air temperature –1.8c, grass minimum –5.5c. Cloud increased during the early hours giving a little snow with slight accumulations, but this had mostly thawed away by reading time at 09:00hrs, as the temperature climbed to 2.7c. The morning saw the cloud breaking to give a few sunny spells, the afternoon saw longer periods of sunshine, but it felt cold in the moderate northwesterly wind, top temperature 6.3c.Rain =0mm.
