Wow what a fab day weather wise, cant believe no one has said anything about it???

Started of around 11:30 with the most brilliant convection happening over the north downs (kent) lovely white clouds mixed with jet black , I wish I could of taken some photos but alas I was working

temp was around 8c with sunshine

I got to Gillingham around 1pm, over head was the darkest cloud ive seen in a while, suddenly the heavens opened and hail fell from the sky, it belted down.. temp there had suddenly dropped to 5c!

I then drove to rainham watching as the cloud was slightly up ahead, then had a up close and personal view of a brilliant CG lightning, followed closely by loud crack of thunder!

I then went back up to Bredhurst (top of the north downs) where the temp had been 8c just over an hour ago, to find it white, the fields covered in white slush from the hail, temp up there was now 3c!!!!!
