Just a few of this mornings snow just after dawn. It soon started to melt once the sun came up.

They are very nice Kar, at least you had time to go for a walk in your snow, ours was so brief I just had time for 5 minutes in the car, then it was all over and melted :)

I love the 4th picture, the dog gives a fantastic sense of scale and drama to the picture. Fantastic shots, very green with envy ;)

why is it that almost all dogs when let loose in snow like to be a snowplough with their noses?

many many years ago when I had a beagle he would charge round the garden nose into the snow then throw it up in the air and try to catch it!

I know what you mean John. ;)

She is only 6 months months old and, apart from a light dusting in Feb, this was her first real snow. Needless to say she went ape when see first saw it!!
