They were over central Dorset at the time I think:

Those are stunning LH .

I was on the other side of them and they were sat over and to the S/SW of Salisbury Plain at sunset with vivid colours reflecting the sunlight.

Yes, I reckon they were over central Dorset! They had just passed over the Sherborne area and produced a very heavy hail storm followed by some interestingly coloured clouds as the sun set.
