A sunny start, but with a widespread frost, the minimum air temperature down to –1c and a grass minimum temperature of –3c. Becoming cloudy towards reading time at 10:00hrs, although still dry with bright spells. The morning and afternoon saw some good sunny spells, but with a couple of sharp hail showers. Feeling very pleasant in between the showers. Top temperature 11.9c, rain = trace.
